I am a registered dietitian located in Fort Collins, Colorado.
I completed my undergraduate degree in nutrition & food science from Colorado State University. I then earned my master's degree in Sport Nutrition from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs (UCCS). I've had the opportunity to learn and work with athletes from UCCS, US Army WCAP program, US Air Force Academy, and the Colorado Springs Switchbacks football club.
In my early career, I started out working as a baker for many years, which ultimately sparked my passion for nutrition! I continued to improve my culinary skills and even worked as a performance chef at the US Olympic & Paralympic Training Center. I have spent many years developing recipes for specialized diets including gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, lactose free, diabetic, etc. for clients of all ages.
As a marathon runner and triathlete, I've had an absolute blast applying my knowledge and skills in my own training. My goal as a sport dietitian is to help my fellow athletes develop fueling and hydration plans to optimize their sport performance and succeed in achieving their goals.
